The vacuum dryer is suitable for the concentration, mixing, drying of powdery, granular and fibrous materials in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries and materials that need to be dried at low temperature.
Cavitation may occur when the vacuum dryer is in use, so how can we reduce the cavitation of the vacuum dryer?
1. Reduce the vibration of the contact surface between the vacuum dryer and the liquid, reduce the phenomenon of water hammer, and reduce the occurrence of cavitation. A common measure is to increase the rigidity of the hydraulic pump and improve its support device.
2. When choosing a hydraulic pump for a vacuum dryer, more cavitation-resistant materials are used as the hydraulic pump. At present, the common cavitation-resistant materials for hydraulic pumps are cast iron and stainless steel.
3. If allowed, some plastic or chrome plating can be applied to the surface of the vacuum dryer parts to reduce the occurrence of cavitation.
4. In terms of part design, the surface roughness of the part can be reduced. The cavitation of the vacuum dryer can be slowed down to a certain extent if the eddy currents generated when the body flows can be reduced.
The above four methods are effective methods to reduce the cavitation phenomenon of vacuum dryers. I hope everyone can be familiar with them and master them well.
