Effective recycling methods and optimizing energy logistics are not carried out efficiently. Considerable amount of time is given only on analyzing and calculating the impact on the environment rather than implanting the required measures. Some of the main problems can be co2 emission, deterioration of the machine, inadequate recycling process, product waste etc.

Renewable raw materials: The first question that will arise is what are renewable resources? The answer is that, they are the naturally available resources which can replenish within a short span of time through a biological or natural reoccurrence. Replacing the fast finishing resources with these renewable raw materials will reduce the pressure on the scarcely available sources of the planet and can ensure a secure future availability. Most of these naturally replenishing sources are biodegradable but considering the safety measures for the filling process it has to be fused with some materials which will make them non- biodegradable. Further research is being done by the organizations to explore more replenishing raw materials that can replace the extinctive sources.

Energy and logistic sustenance: Most of the liquid filling machines work on electricity. Thus the annual emission results cleared the reason for the CO2 emission in the filler industry. Thus for an environmental positive functioning we need reducing of the energy consumption by the liquid filling machine. This can be achieved by upgrading the equipments, optimizing production process, consumption metering and replacing the normal lighting with efficient LED lighting. Contractual emission utilization also carried out for efficient energy optimization. A bigger step can be taken if we replace the normal power resources with solar resources.

Even the emission impact on transport is calculated. Continuous transport is always present between the production facilities. From importing raw materials, to exporting finished goods everything requires transportation. Thus factors like distance between the suppliers, type of fuelling in the vehicle, type of vehicle itself etc should also be calculated. This would help in making complex measures to check the increasing emission rates.

 

Recycling: The liquid filling machines and the industries that uses it should implement an optimized recycling operation which may include, treating internally generated waste and high recycling of the defective liquid filled products. There are times when the filling machines make some mistakes resulting in defective product. These products will not be sent to the customers, instead they can be treated well and the ingredients can be reused as no damage will be caused to the medicine and it will be only the package. Recycling can even come out as cost effective. Contributing to the recycling process will help deduce the environmental hazard and unwanted addition of waste.
